Stem Jet is an innovative boat designed on a polyvalent base, which offers the possibility to adapt the boat for various uses: Rescue, Fire Fighting, Research, Anti-pollution.
Besides the other variants already anticipated for the series, STEM’s design department is able to offer a number of personalisations, ideal for people that work on the water, considering safety and practicality.
HULL
With regards to safety the hull is the first characteristic that gives STEMten an optimum navigation and exceptional stability. The hull’s structure and deck are made of a Kevlar compound and vinylester resin and is amply reinforced. A pneumatic semi-tubular, made of Hypalon, divided in 7 watertight sections is applied along the borders and is available in different colours and carries out the function of buffer and reserve buoyancy.
DECK
The deck, built in the Kevlar compound and vinylester resin, is the second main element that, thanks to the wide available spaces, gives STEMten those practicality features which make it a unique product.
ENGINE
For the inboard motorization Stem has chosen STEYR 256 Turbodiesel (250 Hp) coupled on demand to:
- WaterJet Hamilton HJ series
- Stern Drive Mercruiser BravoII o BravoIII
The outboard motorization is available on client request.
INSTRUMENTATION (optional)
The navigation can be assisted by a complete instrumentation: cartographic Radar, GPS, sonic depth finder, Log, VHF, etc. The fitting out can be completed with safety apparatuses, emergency signalling and electronic siren with loudspeaker.
